We want kids to discover and develop a passion for Jesus.
Our goal is to partner with the parents to influence the spiritual development of every child.
LP Kids is for kids: Newborn – 4th grade.
We meet each Sunday morning during the 9am & 11am gatherings.
Through worship, teaching, and a variety of fun activities, children are exposed to God's Word and challenged to grow in their relationship with God. Our purpose each week is to show kids the love of Jesus in a fun, safe and loving environment.

“It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us.” 1 Corinthians 1:21-22
Child Dedication / Parent Commissioning is a parents’ affirmation before the gathered church of their intent to lead and spiritually nurture their child to grow, in wisdom, stature and love of our great God! We invite all parents of newborns to join us for a special service to celebrate your child and to encourage, equip and empower your family in the monumental task of discipling your child.
We want to get to know you and your family so we can serve as a better resource in the spiritual development of your child. We are here to equip you.
Annually, we gather with our Lifepoint family to celebrate the newest members of family and intentionally declare and encourage the commitment to make disciples and raise their kids in relationship with Jesus. Ideally, this is for children who are under a year old, but if you have an older child, and you would like the opportunity to be commissioned as missionaries in your own home, you are welcome. There is no age limit.
Why do we host a parent commissioning?
To Begin a partnership with your family. We are called to make disciples. We cannot take on the responsibility of making disciples of every child, but we can equip and empower parents and come alongside them to help them nurture their children in an supportive environment.
Parents are Missionaries in the Home. In the same way that we commission our missionaries to live overseas, we want to set our sights on parents embracing this role as God’s missionary to their kids.
This means we take time each year to intentionally put parents in front of our church. We explain the commitment they are making, and together as a body we pray for them and remind ourselves of the role we also must play as their church family. In a sense, we are “dedicating” the child-- it's a special mile marker celebration, and we LOVE to celebrate with you! More importantly, we are actively commissioning the families. And together, our whole church gets to celebrate a family's declaration to raise their kids “in the training and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4 CSB). It’s an incredible commitment. We intend to remind each other of that commitment regularly—as often as we remind each other of God’s grace, which will provide the strength necessary to accomplish the task.
