Blessings in a Backpack is a national organization that provides food on the weekends for children in K-4th grades who might otherwise go hungry.

As a leader in the movement to end childhood hunger, Blessings in a Backpack empowers communities to take action.

We think children who are hungry are in foreign countries but tragically, they are right here in our community. The consequences of hunger are much more than a growling stomach. Poor nutrition can result in a weaker immune system, increased hospitalizations, lower IQ, shorter attention spans, and lower academic achievement.

We pack blessings each Thursday night of the school year at Albertville Primary School. LifePoint is committed to the following packing dates for this school year.
